"Celebrating Realism" - Museo, Langley, WA

This is a show representing art of the "most talented artists in the Northwest."  Claudia will have two paintings and three sculptures, one life sized at this show at the Museo Gallery on Whidbey Island.  Artist's reception: Saturday, June 5th from 5-7pm.  The exhibit will run through June 28, 2010.

Edmonds Juried Art Show June 13-16. I am honored six art works of mine have been juried into one of the most encompassing collections of professional artists pieces in the NW.  In a dreamy waterfront town over Father's Day Weekend June 13-16. EAFA 32nd Annual Juried Exhibition, Redmond City Hall, November 26-January 4, 2008. Redmond . 425 556 2299 for information. I was pleased to see sculpture pitted against painting and the sculpture "Leda and the Swan" won second in all category competition. There is a Festival of Lights included in the Redmond's holiday celebration and a candle night walk on along the slough.December 2.

GAGE Alumni Show, 1501 10th Ave East, Seattle. November 27 - January 17. See Events www.gageacademy.org. This show has three of my recent paintings including, "Sheep the Color of Icicles-Green".

Essential Baking Company, Seattle. "Flock in the Gap Series", December 1-30, 2007. Oil Paintings on Linen. 1604 N 34th Street in Wallingford area. 6 AM to 6 PM. I have been working on this series for awhile and this show includes a large work 42" x 38". The inspiration was a group of sheep gathered in a corner, steaming in the morning light, with fog rising in the back. This was such a stunning spirit filled image.

49th STREET STUDIO EVENT:OPEN STUDIO. Please join the partners and myself for presentation of recent work and party. February 24, 2008 Sunday. 2 - 6 PM. This event happens seldom because I cannot find the time to clean the studio nor get caught up with new paintings not to mention find time to send out invitations to all who have been supportive of my work!
